This page describes how messaging works when Appointment Copilot is used for first-contact handling on behalf of participating organizations.

Who Sends Messages

Messages may be sent by Appointment Copilot systems on behalf of participating firms during first-contact handling.

Messages are used to support an inquiry that a user initiates through SMS or supported messaging channels.

Purpose of Messages

Appointment Copilot does not send promotional or marketing messages.

Messaging is operational only and may include:

  • First-contact replies and basic intake clarification
  • Scheduling and calendar confirmation messages
  • System notifications required to complete the interaction

Consent

If a user chooses to communicate via SMS or supported messaging channels, they consent to receive messages related to first-contact handling and scheduling.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Scope note: Messaging is tied to user-initiated contact and operational handling. It is not used for promotional outreach.

Opt-Out

Users can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
